Our journey in the construction industry began at an early age, working in the field after school and developing a strong foundation in hands-on craftsmanship and project management.

In 1980, I began my career in Virginia Beach, Virginia, as a farming and carpentry contractor. By 1987, I had earned my Class A Contractor license and expanded my expertise to include new home construction, commercial build-outs, and government contracting projects.

After relocating to Pinellas County, Florida, I founded several successful companies, including Bayshore Construction, specializing in framing, and Surface Concepts, a remodeling and landscaping company. I later owned and operated Surfcon, a demolition company serving the local market.

In 2010, I returned to Virginia Beach and shifted my focus to residential remodeling, specializing in kitchens and full home renovations. Recognizing the growing demand for high-quality gutter and water management solutions in the Tidewater region, I re-established Surfcon in 2019 to provide specialized services dedicated to protecting and enhancing residential properties.
